Charlen died May 24, 2003 in Springfield, Sangamon Co., IL. OBIT: Services for Charlene B Fosnaugh, formerly of Litchfield, will be held at 1 pm Saturday in Plummer funeral Home with the Rev Mark Richison, pastor of Parkview Christian Church at Mt Carmel officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm today in the funeral home.
Mrs Fosnaugh died at 10:10 am Thursday, May 24, 2001, in St John's North, Springfield. A resident of Virden, she was 73 years old on September 27.
She was born in Litchfield, a daughter of Benjamin and Belvia Parrott Kruse and graduated from Litchfield High School. She married LaVern Fosnaugh on October 15, 1950, in Litchfield; he died September 15, 1999.
Surviving are a son, Robert Fosnaugh and wife Dawn of Springfield; brother, George Kruse and wife Eilene of Virden; sisters, Betty Maynard and husband Henry; and Dolores Kruse, all of Litchfield; and one granddaughter, Kari Fosnaugh. Preceding her in death were brothers, Benjamin Kruse in infancy, John A Kruse and James "Rusty" Kruse.
She married LaVerne Fosnaugh October 15, 1950 in Litchfield, Montogomery Co., IL. LaVerne was born January 13, 1926. LaVerne was the son of Charles Wilson Fosnaugh and Clara Johnson. LaVerne died Sep;tember 15, 1999.
