Clara died August 29,1991 in Canton, Fulton Co., IL. OBIT: Arlene Spencer, 71, of 1039 E. Pine, died at 8:12 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 29, 1991) at her residence.
Born Aug. 22, 1920, in Canton, the daughter of Edward Frank and Eunice A. (Conrad) DeLong, she married Paul Spencer July 12, 1941 in Canton. He died Nov. 10, 1985.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Judy) Brown and Mrs. Terry (Janet) Tabor, both of Canton; two sons, James P. of Coral Springs, Fla. and William D. of Bloomfield (sic), Colo.; one brother, Donald DeLong of Canton; two sisters, Marilyn Whitaker of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Barbara Danner of Canton; and three grandchildren.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, Rev. Delmer Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the memorial home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
She married Paul Spencer July 12, 1941. Paul was born January 21, 1918. Paul died November 10, 1985 in Canton, Fulton Co., IL.
Clara Arlene DeLong and Paul Spencer had the following children:
