Erma died December 25, 2010 in Henderson, Henderson Co., KY. OBIT: Erma Lee Predmore, 80, Robards, passed away at 9:42 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at Methodist Hospital.

She was a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church in Robards. She worked at Medco for 26 years and her family was her life.

Mrs. Predmore was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Leona Durall Zumwalt; one brother, Richard Zumwalt; and one sister, Marjorie Collins.

Survivors include her husband, Morris Predmore; three daughters, Jane Predmore and Jan Predmore, both of Robards, and Joyce White and her husband, William, of Shepherdsville, Ky.; two brothers, Delbert Zumwalt of Pittsfield, Ill., and Bruce Zumwalt of Griggsville, Ill.; two sisters, Roberta Miller of Houston and Reta Smith of Pittsfield; one grandson, Coy Predmore and his girlfriend, Carol Stevenson, of Niagara; two great-granddaughters, Brianna and Julie Stevenson of Niagara; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Valley Christian Church. The Rev. Jonathon Keyes will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Robards.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Pleasant Valley Cemetery Fund.

Pallbearers will be Neal Logan, Dave Andrews, Randy Beck, Otis Walker, Eddy Stone and Ronnie Young

She married Morris D. Predmore. Morris was born March 25,1934 in Pittsfield, Pike Co. IL. Morris was the son of Chester Predmore and Pauline (__). Morris died March 4, 2015. OBIT: Morris D. "Morrey" Predmore, 81, Robards, joined his Heavenly Father Friday, March 4, 2016.

He was born on March 25, 1934, in Pittsfield, Ill., to the late Chester and Pauline Predmore. Morrey was a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church.

Morrey had a very interesting life. After serving in both the Navy and the Coast Guard a total of 26 years, he was able to pursue his life long passion of training horses.

He trained in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and Kentucky, settling in Robards 40 years ago. He greatly enjoyed working with youth and was a 4-H leader in Virginia. He trained for many people, including broadcaster/entertainer Arthur Godfrey.

In later years, he showed Quarter Horses with his pride and joy, grandson Coy.

During his military career, he served in Korea, Vietnam, Bay of Pigs Invasion and the Cuban blockade. While stationed in Washington, D.C., he had occasion to work in the White House with Lyndon Johnson.

As a combat photographer, he was always paired with a writer. For several years, his writing teammate was Alex Haley, author of "Roots."

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Erma Lee Predmore; his parents, Chester and Pauline; two brothers, Lou and Terry; and one sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Jerry Reid.

Survivors include three daughters, Jane Predmore, Jan Predmore of Robards and Joyce White and son-in-law William White of Sheppardsville; one grandson, Coy Predmore and his wife, Carol Stevenson; and four great-grandchildren, Brianna Stevenson, Julianna Stevenson, Isabella Predmore and Wyatt Predmore; many loving nieces and nephews.
