She married Charles Evans Dell October 4, 1947 in IN. Charles was born June 27, 1918 in Columbus, Bartholomew Co., IN. Charles was the son of Charles F. Dell and Winifred M. Evans. Charles died January 1, 1999 in Columbus, Bartholomew Co., IN. OBIT: Charles E. Dell, 80, of Lafayette Avenue died at 7:26 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Mr. Dell was the owner of Dell Brothers Clothing Store. The Dell family has been in the clothing business in Columbus since 1916. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Parish, Fourth Degree Knights, Elks Lodge and a former member of the board of directors of Citizens Savings and Loan. A 1941 graduate of Notre Dame Law School, Mr. Dell served with the Army during the invasion of Normandy in World War II.

Funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Oratory with the Rev. Clem Davis officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Myers Funeral Service, Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mr. Dell was born June 27, 1918, in Columbus, the son of Charles F. and Winifred Evans Dell. He married Peggy C. Lucas Oct. 7, 1947, in Columbus. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Colleen Silverberg of Cincinnati; sons, Nick and Mike Dell of Lafayette, Tom Dell of Columbus, and Rob Dell of Cincinnati; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Peggy Colleen Lucas and Charles Evans Dell had the following children:
