IN February 27, 1923. William died Januaryh 3, 1994 in Columbus, Bartholomew Co., IN.
He married Charlotte W. Weaver September 24, 1949 in Bartholomew Co. IN. Charlotte was born April 11, 1929 in Bartholomew Co. IN. Charlotte was the daughter of Oliver Weaver and Florence Renner. Charlotte died March 15, 1999 in Columbus, Bartholomew Co., IN. OBIT: Charlotte W. Dudley, 69, of South Gladstone Avenue died at 5:49 a.m. Monday, March 15, 1999, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
She retired from the Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Service office where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of First Christian Church where she was active in the Sewing Circle, and also was a member of Columbus Grange and Bartholomew County Farm Bureau.
Funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. David Burnett officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11:30 a.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Dudley was born in Bartholomew County April 11, 1929, the daughter of Oliver and Florence Renner Weaver. She married William E. Dudley Sept. 24, 1949. He died Jan. 3, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Dudley of Columbus; daughters, Diane Bringman and Joan Schaefer, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Garth Bringman, Mark Schaefer, Lindsey and Christopher Dudley and Melissa Broady; and one great-grandchild.
