Denver died June 9, 2010 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co, MS. OBIT: Funeral services for Denver Lee Anding, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m. on Friday, June 11, at First Baptist Church in Brookhaven, with burial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon until the time of the service at the church.

Mr. Anding, 87, died June 9, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Brookhaven on Dec. 25, 1922, to Johnson Anding and Eunice Case Anding.

He was retired from Marlin Drilling Co., and was a former alderman for the City of Brookhaven. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, Dallas Anding and Carlos Anding; and his sisters, Mavis Smith and Yvone Boyte.

Survivors are his wife, Esiz Lee Anding, of Brookhaven; his son, Othel Anding and wife Camille, of Etta; his daughter, Sue Anding Case and husband Clint, of Madison; his sister, Eva Nations, of Brookhaven; his grandchildren, Eli Anding and wife Katie Anding, of Birmingham, Ala., Tahya Dobbs and husband Dr. Kevin Dobbs, of Brandon; Shaw Case and wife Roxanne Case, and Andy Case and wife Sharon Case, all of Madison; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Ministries of Brookhaven, or the Building Fund at First Baptist Church in Brookhaven

He married Esiz Lee Roberts. Esiz was born November 2, 1925. Esiz was the daughter of Mikttie Roberts and Elzie (___). Esiz died April 29, 2015 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Friend, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Esiz Lee Anding passed from this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. She was 89 years old and was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Denver Lee Anding, her parents, Mittie & Elzie Roberts, one brother, J.E., and a sister, Yuba Wallace.

She leaves behind a son, Othel (Camille) of Brandon and daughter Sue Case (Clint) of Madison. Her four grandchildren were her delight. Tahya Dobbs (Kevin) of Brandon, Eli Anding (Katie) of Birmingham, Andy Case (Sharon) and Shaw Case (Roxanne) of Madison. Eleven great-grandchildren added even more joy to her life. They are Camea, Carson, CandyLee Dobbs of Brandon, Taylor & Tanner Case, Harrison & Peyton Case of Madison, Shields, Patton, Major, and James Wesley Anding of Birmingham. She is also survived by one brother, Pearlie Roberts.

Mrs. Anding was a life-long resident of Brookhaven where she was a stay-home mom. She and her family were members of FBC Brookhaven. After the death of her husband, she moved to SunnyBrook Retirement Home in Madison to be closer to her family.

Family members will always remember her love for growing flowers, her incredible sewing talent, and her flare for homestyle cooking.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 3 from 1:00-3:00pm followed by the funeral at 3:00pm at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Denver Lee Anding and Esiz Lee Roberts had the following children:
