Visitation is Saturday from 4-9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home. Mr. Smith, 84, died Dec. 3, 2004, at King's Daughters Medical Center. He was born in Lincoln County on April 9, 1920, to Johnson C. Smith and Mary McGee Smith. He was a retired building contractor. He was a graduate of Loyd Star High School. He was a member of New Salem Church of Christ. Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Estelle Hardin; and four brothers, Clark, Percy, Claude B., and Clyde Smith. Survivors are his wife, Juanita Smith of Wesson; his daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Blackie Post of Farmerville, La.; his son and daughter-in-law, Juan and Rachel Smith of Wesson;his sisters, Hallie Lea and Ina Belle McCoy, both of Brookhaven; his brothers, Sam Smith and Denver Smith, both of Brookhaven; his grandchildren, Brad, Luke and Matt Post, and Brock, Zac and Macy Smith; and two great-grandchildren.
