Paul died August 14, 1996 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. Paul and Ruby were buried in Rose Hill Cemeteru, Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS.

He married Ruby (Petie) Price 1945. Ruby was born January 18, 1925 in Lincoln Co., MS. Ruby was the daughter of John Henry Price and Allie Elizbeth Carlisle. Ruby died January 4, 2002 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Services for Ruby P. Nevels of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Nevels, 76, died Jan. 4, 2002, at her residence. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 18, 1925, to John H. Price and Allie E. Carlisle Price.

She was retired from Jacobsen-Textron. She was a member of Jackson Street United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, and her husband, Paul Lee Nevels.

Survivors are her sons, Paul R. Nevels, Steven N. Nevels, Edmond S. Nevels and Greg A. Nevels, all of Brookhaven; her daughters, Paulette Fioretti of Jackson and Jan Melancon of Brookhaven; her sister, Veda Grace Beasley of Brookhaven; and 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Paul Lee Nevels and Ruby (Petie) Price had the following children:
