He married Leatha Nell Eldrige. Leatha was born December 6,1929 in Morgan Co., KY. Leatha was the daughter of Ray Eldridge and Hazel Caskey. Leatha died May 25, 2006 in Bluefield, Meced Co., WV. OBIT: Letha Nell (Eldridge) Wilson of Fairborn (OH), and formerly of West Liberty KY, born December 6, 1929, to the late Ray and Hazel Caskey Eldridge in Morgan County KY went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2006. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Woodrow Smith, her Grandpaw John E. Eldridge, her Granny, Rebecca Ann (Fraley) Eldridge and Aunt Sissie--Goldie (Eldridge) Trimble. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ray "Junior" Eldridge, and her sister Betty Ruth Adkins. She is survived by 2 daughters, Loretta and husband Everett Dagnan of Fairborn and Brenda and husband Berl L. Wilson of West Liberty KY; one son Glenn and wife Darlene Smith of Xenia OH; two sisters, Ima Jean and husband Darrell King and Wanda Faye Potter, all of West Liberty; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and brother-in-law Glenn Adkins of Sandy Hook KY. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held 1pm May 27, 2006 at he Fairborn Church of God Tabernacle, 1635 Montgomery Ave., Fairborn with the Rev Eugene Haney and the Rev Lowell Lay, Pastor of the church officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 5-7pm May 26, 2006. Interment will be in Byron Cemetery. The family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to the following; Brother Eugene Haney and Brother Lowell Lay, Dr. Jessica Gallagher, Hospice of Dayton, and the staff of Wright Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
