4194. Lillie Maude⁷ Smith (Rowan Milton⁶, Priscilla⁵ Allgood, Wyatt⁴, William (Pikey) Henry³, William John², Edward¹) was born in Catahoula Parish, LA February 26, 1893. Lillie died July 27, 1970. OBIT: Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Maude Smith, 77, of Jena, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. Truman Leach, officiating. Burial was in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith died Monday morning. She was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Frank Clarkston, Mrs. Gladys Smith, Mrs. Baker Collins, Mrs. Wiley Breland and Mrs. Sam White, all of Jena; two sons, Edgar Smith and Huey Smith, both of Jena; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Garland of Pineville; 19 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

She married John Wesley Smith. John was born February 25, 1884. John died November 7, 1959 in Jena, LaSalle Parish, LA.

11787 ii. Allen Rowan Smith was born in Jena, LaSalle Parish, LA January 17, 1910. Allen died June 7, 1964 in Alexandria, Rapides Parrish, LA. He married Ethel Wiley. Ethel was born January 20, 1910. Ethel died December 15,1987.

+ 11788 iii. Edith Margurite Smith was born March 23, 1914.

+ 11789 iv. Bonnell Ruth Smith was born February 2, 1915.

+ 11790 v. Annie Mae Smith was born February 3, 1918.

11791 vi. Mary (Katie) Smith was born in Hodge, Jackson Parish, LA May 14, 1920. Mary died July 10, 2008 in Jena, LaSalle Parish, LA. She married William Wiley Breland July 8, 1939. William was born May 2, 1921 in Lasalle Parish, LA. William was the son of Ruben F Breland and Florence Corley. William died April 19, 2001 in Jena, LaSalle Parish, LA.

11792 vii. Ora Lucille Smith was born in Jena, LaSalle Parish, LA March 13, 1922. Ora died September 25, 1931 in Jena, LaSalle Parish, LA.

11793 viii. Gladys Belle Smith was born July 27, 1924. Gladys died August 11, 2009 in Jena, LaSalle Parish, LA. OBIT: Gladys Belle Smith, 85, of Jena, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at the LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena. mrs. Smith was born July 27, 1924 to the union of John Wesley and Lillie Maude Smith. Services were held at 2 p,m,, Thursday, August 13 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Tony Wilson officiating. Interment followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery at Rhinehart under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Allen Smith, Edgar Smith and Huey Smith Sr; and four sisters, Edith Clarkson, Bonelle White, Katie Breland and Ora Smith. Survivors include one sister, Annie Mae Collins of Jena; a sister-in-law, villet Smith of Jena: and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Darty Brian, Kenny Bryan, Huey Smith Jr., Jay Breland, Gerald Brandford and Tommy Hudnall Jr.

11794 ix. Huey P. Smith was born July 1, 1928. Huey died March 24, 2009.
