11115 x. William Clifton Allgood was born in Iredell Co., NC August 28, 1913. William died April 24, 1980 in Statesville, Iredell Co., NC. He married Beulah Marie Goodman September 22, 1934. Beulah was born April 25, 1910 in Iredell Co., NC. Beulah was the daughter of William Jay Goodman and Alice Mae Simpson. Beulah died October 25, 2006 in Statesville, Iredell Co., NC. OBIT: Mrs. Beulah Goodman Allgood, 96, of Troutman went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006. She was born April 25, 1910, in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late William Jay and Alice Mae Simpson Goodman. She attended Iredell County schools and on Sept. 22, 1934, was married to William Clifton Allgood, who died April 24, 1980. Mrs. Allgood was a faithful member of Pressly Memorial A.R.P. Church and at the time of her death was their oldest living member. She was a member of the Ruth Bible Class, a former member of the choir and also belonged to a church circle. She was retired from Beauty Maid Mills as a supervisor and for 15 years was a pink lady for Iredell Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Carlton Goodman and William Frank Goodman, two sisters, Naomi Perry and Margaret Olean Freeze. Mrs. Allgood is survived by one sister, Carry "Nettie" Miller of Mooresville, along with nine nieces and nephews, including Gary Freeze of Troutman. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at Pressly Memorial A.R.P. Church with the Rev. Frank Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Active pall bearers will include Doug Miller, Hunter Norman, Carroll Goodman, Ronnie Freeze, Tom Mooney and Bud Fox. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Goodman and the men of her Sunday School Class
