She was born to the union of Edgar Wesley and Nettie Carl (Allen) Smith on Monday, November 25, 1940 in Jena, Louisiana.

Mrs. Sistrunk was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Ronnie Stewart, second husband, James Sistrunk, and a daughter, Kelly Stewart.

Those left to cherish her memory, daughter, Robin Attaway and husband Mike; three sons, Bryan Stewart and wife Julie, Chance Sistrunk and wife Misty and Ed Sistrunk and wife Lisa; four sisters, Velda Thornton and husband Don, Alice Ruth Bailey and husband Garland, Becky Davidson and husband Ellis and Margie Procter; ten grandchildren, Tyler Stewart, Trent Stewart, Mary Elizabeth Attaway, Hunter Sistrunk, Amaya Sistrunk, Madison Sistrunk, Preston Sistrunk, Danielle Sistrunk, Emily Sistrunk and Taylor Sistrunk; special nephew, Kenny Bryan; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, March 9, 2012, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Services will be at 12:00 PM on Friday in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home with Bro. Emerson Sharp and Rev. Curtis Thornton officiating. Mrs. Sistrunk will be laid to rest in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Rhinehart, Louisiana under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers, Kenny Bryan, Mike Attaway, Wesley Davidson, Kerry Richardson, John Richardson, and Gary Richardson. Honorary pallbearers, Bill Bailey and Orlan Davidson.

She married twice. She married James Edward Sistrunk. James was born August 18, 1941 in Rayville, Richland Parrish, LA. James died Septembe 25, 1997 in Jena, LaSalle Parish, LA. OBIT: SISTRUNK, James Edward

56, of Jena, died Thursday, September 25, 1997 at his residence.

He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church.

A veteran, he was born August 18, 1941, at Rayville to the union of Chancy and Geraldine Ainsworth Sistrunk.

Services were held Saturday, September 27, 1997 at the Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Dan Davis and Ben Deville officiating.

Interment followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include his wife, Ora Maudean Sistrunk of Jena; two daughters, Robin Mueller of Raleigh, N.C. and Karen Brinkley of Corinth, Miss.; Three sons, James E. Sistrunk, Jr., of Aberdeen, Md., Chancey Lee Sistrunk and Bryan Stewart, both of Monroe; his mother and step-father, Geraldine and Lucein Nolen of Lake Providence; two sisters, Delores Caston of Rayville and Penny McKeithen of Monroe; two brothers, Gayle Sistrunk of Monroe and Randy Sistrunk of Rayville; and eight grandchildren.

She married Ronald (Ronnie) Shermn Stewart.

Ora Maudean Smith and Ronald (Ronnie) Shermn Stewart had the following children:
